- Overview
- Recommended Products
- Three-in-one purification train - Mesh pre-filter, high-voltage ESP and HEPA/activated-carbon final stage share one cabinet, so no intermediate ducting or secondary fan is required.
- High-efficiency electrostatic collection - Charging and plate collection capture 0.1-10 micron oil mist and welding fume at high efficiency on standard cutting, grinding and heat-treatment duty.
- Modular, washable ESP cells - Collection cells slide out individually for alkaline washing; the electrostatic main stage uses no disposable filter media.
- Six airflow models from 1,000 to 12,000 m3/h - Match a single machine tool (YS-OFP-E10-AIO) or a complete heat-treatment or die-casting cell (YS-OFP-E120-AIO).
- Intelligent high-voltage control - Arc suppression and automatic voltage regulation follow the real oil mist load, protecting the power pack and cutting energy use during light-duty periods.
- Variable-frequency drive option - A VFD with differential-pressure sensing can be specified to adjust fan speed in real time as the filter load changes, matching power draw to actual demand.
- Compact all-in-one footprint - From 1,940 x 930 x 750 mm on the smallest model, the unit sits beside the machine instead of occupying a separate plant room.
- Low running cost - No disposable media in the main stage and a low-resistance electrostatic cell design keep both consumable and electricity costs down.
- Pre-filter: 304 stainless-steel woven wire mesh in a removable frame. The mesh is washable and reusable, and is sized to strip coarse droplets and chips before they reach the ionising field.
- Electrostatic collection cells: grounded metal collection plates mounted in a slide-out modular frame. Plates are washed in an alkaline solution and reused indefinitely; the cell design keeps the collecting surface field-uniform so efficiency does not degrade between washes.
- Cabinet: powder-coated cold-rolled steel sheet, with a gasketed access panel for cell extraction. A 304 stainless-steel cabinet option is offered for food-processing and wash-down environments.
- Final stage: HEPA-grade glass-fibre media for residual fine particulate, followed by a granular activated-carbon layer where odour and VOC control is required.
- High-voltage insulators and electrode frames are selected for continuous duty in humid, oil-laden air; the power pack is housed in a separate compartment away from the dirty air stream.
- Material and surface-treatment certificates, together with filtration test reports, are available on request.
- CNC machining and turning - Purifies oil mist from lathes, machining centres and automatics, and allows the cleaned air to be recirculated into the workshop.
- Grinding and EDM - Captures fine coolant aerosol and graphite dust close to the machine, protecting operators and electrical cabinets.

Description
The YONGSTA E-AIO Series is an all-in-one electrostatic oil mist and fume purifier designed for machine shops, heat-treatment plants, food-processing lines and welding workshops that need a single self-contained unit to clean process exhaust air before it is returned to the shop or discharged outdoors. Each unit combines three purification principles inside one enclosure: a stainless-steel mesh pre-filter that traps coarse oil droplets, lint and metal chips; a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator (ESP) stage that ionises and captures sub-micron aerosol on grounded collection plates; and, on the larger models, a HEPA-grade final filter and an activated-carbon layer that remove the remaining fine particulate and the odour compounds responsible for complaints from neighbouring departments. Six airflow models are available, from the YS-OFP-E10-AIO at 1,000 m3/h - a compact unit that mounts beside a single CNC lathe or machining centre - up to the YS-OFP-E120-AIO at 12,000 m3/h, a multi-cell cabinet sized for a complete heat-treatment line, a die-casting cell or several machining stations captured together.
Because the whole purification train lives in one cabinet, the E-AIO Series removes the interconnecting ducting, the intermediate fans and the installation labour that separate-stage systems require. The oil-laden air enters through the mesh pre-filter, where the largest droplets are separated mechanically and drain back to a collection point; it then passes the ESP cells, where particles as small as 0.1 micron are charged and collected; and it leaves through the final filter and carbon bed as clean, low-odour air that can be recirculated into the workshop, saving the heating and cooling energy that would otherwise be thrown away with the exhaust. The ESP collection cells are metal and modular - each cell slides out individually for alkaline washing, so the main purification stage produces no consumable waste and the running cost is essentially the electricity for the fan and the high-voltage power pack.
The E-AIO Series is built for continuous industrial duty. The cabinet is fabricated from powder-coated cold-rolled steel or from high-grade stainless steel, with a hinged or removable access panel for cell removal, the high-voltage power pack includes arc-suppression and automatic voltage regulation that adapt the field strength to the actual oil mist load, and the fan is matched to the pressure drop of the full filter train so that the unit holds its rated airflow as the cells load up. Standard units are supplied for 380 V / 50 Hz three-phase supply; other voltages and frequencies are available on request for export markets.

Materials & Finish
Assembly & Installation
The E-AIO Series is delivered as a single, factory-tested cabinet. Installation is a one-day task for a two-person team on all models up to YS-OFP-E40-AIO; larger models require lifting equipment.
1. Site preparation - Provide a level concrete or steel floor capable of carrying the unit weight (40-750 kg depending on model), plus at least 1,000 mm of clear space on the cell-extraction side as a service access area. Confirm the local 380 V / 50 Hz three-phase supply and an earth point.
2. Positioning - Set the unit beside the machine tool, heat-treatment furnace or welding bay it serves, or in a dedicated bay for multi-point capture. Level the cabinet and anchor it if the site is subject to vibration or vehicle traffic.
3. Duct connection - Connect the inlet to the capture hood, machine enclosure or side-draft duct, and the outlet either to a return-air duct into the workshop or to an outdoor discharge stack. Keep horizontal runs short and maintain duct velocity so that oil mist does not condense in the duct.
4. Electrical connection - Wire the fan and high-voltage power pack to the supply through an isolator, earth the cabinet, and confirm rotation direction and fan current against the nameplate before energising the ESP stage.
5. Commissioning - Run the fan only, verify the airflow at the capture point, then energise the high-voltage stage and confirm the field indicator and discharge air quality. Record airflow, current and efficiency figures for the handover file.
6. Operator training and handover - Demonstrate cell removal and washing, filter replacement and fault indication, and hand over the maintenance schedule and spare-parts list.
Tools required: standard hand tools, lifting equipment for models above YS-OFP-E40-AIO, and ducting materials. Typical installation time: 1 working day (small models) to 2 working days (large models), excluding ductwork fabrication.

FAQ
Q: What exactly is an all-in-one electrostatic oil mist purifier?
A: It is a single cabinet that contains the complete purification train - a mechanical mesh pre-filter, a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator and a final HEPA and/or activated-carbon stage - together with the fan. Because all filtration stages share one enclosure, there is no ducting between filtration stages, no second fan, and the unit is delivered factory-tested and ready to connect to a capture hood.
Q: How efficient is the ESP stage on fine oil mist?
A: Electrostatic precipitation acts on the particle itself rather than on a filter pore, which is why it performs well on the 0.1-10 micron range where mechanical media is weakest. Efficiency is normally quoted at a stated particle size and airflow; please ask our engineers for the tested efficiency figure for the model and duty you are considering.
Q: Which model do I need for my machines?
A: Start from the total capture airflow, not from the machine count. As a guide, YS-OFP-E10-AIO and YS-OFP-E20-AIO suit a single machine tool; YS-OFP-E40-AIO and YS-OFP-E60-AIO suit a small cell or several machines captured together; YS-OFP-E80-AIO and YS-OFP-E120-AIO are sized for heat-treatment lines and die-casting cells. Send us a sketch of the capture points and we will size the unit and the fan.
Q: Do the ESP cells need replacement media?
A: No. The collection cells are metal and modular. Each cell slides out individually and is washed in an alkaline solution, typically on a fortnightly-to-quarterly cycle depending on load. Only the mesh pre-filter and the HEPA/carbon final stage are consumables.
Q: Can the cleaned air be returned to the workshop?
A: Yes, and in cold climates this is usually the reason for choosing the combined HEPA + activated-carbon version. Recirculation recovers the heating energy that would otherwise be exhausted outdoors, provided the discharge genuinely meets the relevant cleanliness target - which is why the final filter and carbon filtration stage are specified on recirculating installations.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?
A: Minimum order quantity is one unit for standard models; customised and OEM configurations are quoted individually. Lead time depends on the model and order quantity - please contact us for a confirmed schedule against your required shipment date.
Q: What is included in the supply?
A: The purifier cabinet with fan, high-voltage power pack and control, one set of mesh pre-filter and ESP cells, the selected final filter stage, an English operation and maintenance manual, a packing list and a test report. Ducting, hoods and installation labour are quoted separately as part of a system package.

Category: Oil Mist & Fume Purification Equipment
Category Introduction
Oil mist, coolant aerosol, heat-treatment smoke are the most persistent and least visible hazards in a modern metalworking plant. Every turning, milling, grinding, EDM, cold-heading, die-casting operation discharges a fine aerosol of metalworking fluid, metal oxide and pyrolysis products into the shop air. Most of these particles measure between 0.3 and 5 microns, which is small enough to stay suspended for hours, to travel the full length of a workshop with the general ventilation, and to reach deep into the lungs of operators working dozens of metres from the source. Left uncontrolled, the same aerosol coats machine tools, lighting and roof structure, degrades electrical cabinets, raises cleaning and maintenance costs, and creates a genuine fire and slip risk around the plant. In cold weather the problem becomes worse: as buildings are closed up and fresh-air rates are reduced to save heating energy, oil mist concentration in the breathing zone rises sharply, and the cost of the ventilation solution becomes a production issue rather than a compliance one. That is why oil mist and fume purification equipment has moved from being an optional accessory to a standard part of the machine-tool package in Europe, North America and, increasingly, in the Middle East and South-East Asia.
This product series is designed primarily for oil mist and oil fume with a high water content. Typical operating conditions are the machining industry, where water-miscible cutting fluids and coolants are used, together with the other wet or emulsified aerosol sources found in metalworking plants. Where the aerosol is predominantly water-based, the purification train is selected so that the moisture load does not degrade filtration performance or shorten element life, and so that the collected liquid can be drained and disposed of cleanly. Buyers should state the coolant type and the water-to-oil ratio of their process when requesting a selection, because it determines both the filtration stages and the drainage arrangement of the unit.
Occupational exposure limits are the main driver of demand. Metalworking fluids are associated with occupational asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis and dermatitis, and regulators have responded with progressively tighter limits on total particulate and oil mist in the breathing zone - typically 0.5 to 5 mg/m3 depending on jurisdiction. For welding, the target is usually hexavalent chromium, manganese and nickel compounds rather than the total fume mass, which is why filtration efficiency on the sub-micron fraction matters far more than a headline capture rate. Buyers should therefore expect a supplier to quote efficiency at a stated particle size, to explain how the installed unit is verified, and to provide material and filtration test reports on request. Equipment that merely moves the aerosol from inside the operator's breathing zone to the roof void is no longer acceptable in most markets: the discharge has to be demonstrably clean, and in many cases it also has to be returned to the workshop in order to recover heating energy.
Three purification principles dominate the market, and the best industrial equipment combines them. Mechanical filtration uses progressively finer barrier media: labyrinth or corrugated baffles to knock out the largest droplets, stainless-steel wire mesh, medium-efficiency pocket or bag filters, and finally HEPA/H13-grade glass-fibre media for the sub-micron tail. Mechanical filtration is robust, needs no high voltage and is easy to validate, but the media has to be replaced or washed periodically and deep beds create pressure drop that pushes fan power up. Electrostatic precipitation (ESP) first gives each particle an electric charge in a high-voltage ionising field, then collects it on grounded plates. Because the collecting force acts on the particle itself rather than on a pore, ESP units achieve high efficiency across the 0.1-10 micron oil mist range at very low pressure drop, and the collection cells are metal, washable and effectively permanent. ESP is the technology of choice for high-airflow, heavy-load duty such as heat treatment, die casting and centralised oil mist treatment for multiple machines. Activated carbon adsorption is added downstream when odour, VOC or process gases must be controlled as well as particulate - for example over high-temperature pyrolysis smoke or paint overspray. A properly specified purifier therefore reads as a train: pre-filter, main filter or ESP, final filter, carbon, fan. The order matters, the efficiency of each stage matters, and the pressure-drop budget determines which fan the plant ends up paying for.
Sizing is where most projects succeed or fail. The purification unit must be matched not only to the total airflow of the capture points but to the capture method itself: full enclosure, close-fitting local exhaust, side-draft hood, or push-pull ventilation across a large bay. Enclosure and close-capture designs reach the same protection level with far less airflow, which reduces both capital and running cost. Once airflow is fixed, the design must respect pressure drop, duct velocity - oil mist must stay above roughly 8-10 m/s in horizontal runs or it will condense inside the duct - and the return-air path. Discharging indoors recovers heating energy but requires the air to genuinely meet the relevant cleanliness target; discharging outdoors avoids that burden but wastes energy and may still be regulated. Because these decisions depend on the plant rather than the catalogue, YONGSTA sizes each project from a capture drawing and an airflow calculation, and supplies the purifier as part of a complete system rather than as an isolated box.
Choosing between the two families usually comes down to airflow, load and layout rather than to price. Mechanical oil mist filters are the natural choice for a single machine tool or a small group of machines: they need no high-voltage power pack, the elements can be washed and reused, and the vertical models fit into the narrow strip of floor beside a machine. Electrostatic units take over where the airflow is large or the load is heavy, including commercial kitchen exhaust, heat treatment, die casting, or a ducted network gathering mist from many machines - because they achieve high efficiency on sub-micron aerosol with very low pressure drop and no disposable media in the main stage. Many workshops end up using both: electrostatic purifiers on the high-airflow central systems, and mechanical units on machines that are remote from the central duct or that run intermittently. What matters is that the equipment is sized from a capture drawing and an airflow calculation. For a quotation, send us the machine list or a plan of the workshop, the capture method you intend to use and the installation position or space available for the purification unit, the available supply voltage, the required discharge route (recirculation or outdoor), and any local exposure limit that the purified discharge has to meet. With those five pieces of information our engineers can size the purifier, the fan and the ductwork, and give you a system price rather than a box price.
